About the job

For one of our big international customers, we are looking for practical and delivery-focused Data Engineer with 5–8 years building and operating data platforms for consumer or regulated industries. The candidate combines hands‑on engineering (Python, SQL) with strong platform understanding (cloud storage, streaming, orchestration) to turn business needs into reliable, production-grade pipelines and analytics layers. They focus on data quality, performance, and operational resilience — important for our customer’s compliance and scale requirements.

Required skills

  • Microsoft SSIS

  • Azure Data Factory

  • Azure Synapse Analytics

  • Databricks

  • MySQL / SQL

  • Python (data engineering)

  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates or similar)

  • Strong understanding of cloud storage, orchestration and streaming concepts

  • Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident response and operational support for pipelines

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
